This lightweight stroller from Out N About is an excellent choice for those looking for a stroller that can take on rough terrain and country walks. The larger rear wheels provide better performance on bumpy surfaces, and the one-handed folding feature is an added benefit.

It also works with a travel system that includes a car seat and carrycot (sold separately). This stroller was easy to navigate on smooth surfaces in the city and in the town. However, it had a difficult time over bumpy terrain.

1. UPPAbaby Ridge

The UPPAbaby Ridge is the first jogger specifically designed to be used on all terrains. You can find UPPAbaby strollers along streets and playgrounds. The UPPAbaby Ridge, due to launch in 2021, is a strong competitor to BOB joggers like the Alterrain Pro and Revolution Flex. The Ridge shares many of the same features with other joggers. However it stands out due to its mountain bike-style disc braking system and never-flat tires.

The Ridge seat is more upright than the seats on most other strollers for jogging which makes it easier for children to view their surroundings. Parents can recline the seat in various positions using an ordinary plastic toggle and two straps attached to the rear of the stroller. The canopy is big and extends for more coverage during long walks. However, the plastic covering can get dirty on wet or muddy walks.

The UPPAbaby Ridge's wheels are foam-filled instead of air-filled. This means that you do not need to carry additional tires or an air pump. The Ridge has a rear wheel that can be locked for running, and an front wheel that can be adjusted to different terrains.  best all terrain prams  comes with a parking brake that can be activated by your foot, just like other jogging tollers.

A large basket beneath the seat can provide plenty of space for gear, snacks and toys for children. The canopy can be opened to give more coverage when it is sunny, or closed during cloudy days. Parents will appreciate that the Ridge is compatible with UPPAbaby's infant car seats as well as their Bassinet accessory (adapters are sold separately) for a travel system.

One disadvantage of the UPPAbaby Ridge is that it's very heavy and bulky when folded. The stroller can be difficult to transport via public transportation and is hard to maneuver through narrow storefronts and shopping aisles.

4. Graco Expedition

The Graco Expedition, our cheapest model is a great option for parents who are looking for a smooth ride with plenty of storage space. It is compact and can stand on its own when not in use to save space. Its wheels were easy to maneuver around corners and rolled smoothly on the different terrains we test. It did not perform as well when climbing hills, compared to the other wagons that we evaluated.

The Expedition includes an adult tray that features two cup holders, and a covered storage space. It also has a child tray with two cup holders as well as an area for snacks. It can be used with the Graco car seat adapter to create a travel system. The adjustable canopy can rotate in both directions however it's not big enough to offer adequate protection.

The Expedition has brake pedals that control both rear wheels. They're easy to activate and release however the pedals' underside is rough on bare feet or sandals. In our runaway-wagon test the brakes were able stop a stroller with weights but it initially skidded before it came to a stop. The model we tested does not have an e-safety harness with three points. Its padded seat is comfortable, but it's not reclining as much as. It's not a great choice for runners.
